The Citizens’ Guide to Sustainable Transportation Advocacy — April 1, 2013


This Citizen’s Guide is a response to the growing number of local groups formed to deal with a transportation issue, be it demanding better pubic transit, dealing with a proposed road widening or new highway, loss of train or bus service, railway abandonment, safe streets to schools, air quality – the list goes on. This is an initial effort by Transport Action Ontario to prepare a guide to help support such citizen efforts. We plan to update this guide from time to time, in particular to add other case studies.
