June 20, 2019 - Federal election just the ticket for regional rail improvements - The London Free Press
Tired of watching Southwestern Ontario be left behind economically, and with high-speed rail likely dead, some communities want to make better rail passenger service a fall federal election issue.
The campaign is being led by St. Marys, a Perth County town that’s asking other municipalities to back its resolution calling for better service from Via Rail, a federal Crown corporation, in a bid to gather regional support and force a commitment from the federal political parties.
Please donate now and assist with the fight for improved VIA service.
